Two Generations of Driving School Experience
Tobias Noyes entered the driving school industry at 16, working at his family's business, Colonial Driving School in Virginia. What began as a teenage job became years of hands-on experience, from supporting students and managing the front desk to learning every aspect of day-to-day school operations.
He later attended University of Virginia, where he studied marketing while remaining deeply involved in Colonial's growth. During that time, he rebuilt the company's technology systems and led its marketing strategy, helping grow revenue from $30,000 in 2016 to more than $650,000 by 2026.
In 2026, Tobias launched Axis Driving Curriculum. The mission: deliver high-quality, fully DMV-approved courses to driving schools and students across Virginia.
